I have been told Location 1 is a suitable location to place a jack stand to support the rear end of a 2018 Altima. (Comments supporting or opposing this recommendation are desired.)
Unfortunately, Location 1 is covered by a splash guard.
If Location 1 is a suitable location for a jack stand, is Location 1A (see above) a suitable location to:
1. Lift the vehicle using a pin-in-disc adapter (see below) that would sit in the saddle of the floor jack, or
2. Position a jack stand with an adapter similar to the pin-in-disc adapter for stability?
