'06 Armada
 

[8D]just purchased a '06 Armada SE. Awesome ride, feels and looks bigger than a '99 expedition. '06 models come with audio/video system that plays mp3 with an aux input for ipods,psp, etc.... one bad experience so far. while showing my brother-in-law the mp3 feature control on the steering wheel the audio stalled. nothing worked, none of the controls work, could not turn it off, change mode, nothing. our bright idea was to turn off the car and then turn it back on. you know like rebooting a pc. well, i turn on the engine again everything works like normal except the audio/video system. first idea to fix problem, check fuses. the are three, two fuses are found infront of front passenger. they are: 10 amp for Audio and 15 amp for Amp. the third is in the bigger fuse box behind the battery, a 20 amp Audio. surprising to me, none of the fuses were broken. so turn the truck back on, everything works again. of course, pulling the 20 amp fuse must have reset the system. my radio station presets had to be set again. reported the malfunction to my nissan dealer, i was told this is the first time they heard of it. other than that this SUV is awesome. someday i would like to pull a "silver twinkie" with it. that would be a 2006 Streamline Safari LS 22 footer.
