Remote start causes radio issue

When I use my factory remote start the radio has no audio. It’s on and functional (presets are there, nav is on) but no sound. And when I hit ‘seek’ it just keeps searching like the antenna is not active it I don’t even hear static.
Everything works fine if I start it manually. There is a TSB about ‘intermittent no audio’ but the dealer says this is a different issue from that TSB and would need a diagnosis starting at $168.
Ive seen this issue in Ford trucks and GMC SUVs and most people are saying a computer ‘flash’ or software update usually solves the problem others say the head unit needs replacing but I can’t see that since it’s only a problem when remote start is used.

Dealer should know there is a free TSB that addresses this exact issue, a design flaw impacting some vehicles. Tell him you want TSB-5688-221 incorporated and its free..
I have run into this numerous times as I am a certified chief senior Nissan mechanic

Dealer doesn’t recognize that TSB. They said Nissan starts with NTB and has 20 numbers. They also said there no open recalls or campaigns on my vehicle. It hasn’t done it in a while but I guess I will see what happens when I start using remote start more frequently as winter sets in here. They said a ‘flash’ or head unit update both cost the same $190.
