Can't remove instruments cluster bezel. Help

Hi All,
I'm trying to remove the instrument cluster from my 98 Pathfinder to get it checked as it's gone haywire.
The problem is I cannot seem to remove the bezel because there isn't enough clearance between the dash and the steering wheel.
I do have the steering wheel tilt all the way down, but it need to go down more so I can remove the bezel. Am I missing something?
Beside releasing the lever and tilting the steering wheel downwards, what can I do?

EDIT: Issue resolved, I managed to pull it out straight towards me.
