This past Saturday my 11 year old went to start my 2008 Nissan Altima. He says he left the key fob on the passeneger seat. Well we can't find it in the car anywhere. We have searched every nook and cranny. The car starts so the fob has to be in the car. I can lock the car with the other fob. But does anyone have any idea where this thing could be in the car? He says he was only in the front seat. I hate to have this car taken to the dealer and stripped down to find the fob. Here's a silly question. Is there anyway this car can start without the fob? Because maybe the fob isn't even in the car and I need to be looking for it in the garage or a coat pocket somewhere. Thanks, Cathy

 

Ive got a 2008 and ive alway had a hard time getting stuff out from in between the front seats and the center console. right side of drivers seat...left side of passengers. loose stuff seems to acculmilate there. change, paper clips, pens, what not. if i had to guess, i say there. there is very little room for a hand or even a flashlight to go down between ---Good hunting.
