hi guys, im new to the forum and just bought a 01 frontier xe crew cab, v6 5spd. boy its fun. i was looking at some mods for it and found an ait sensor mod. does it work? also what does a throttle body spacer do for our cars. if theres any free mods let me know, thanks alot

number one, nothing that helps is free..or cheap. [&o]
number two..this AIT mod, was it on ebay for like 6 -20 dollars? if thats what youre getting at, dont waste your money...modern ECUs are advanced enough to knwo that an engine cant always be at full cold...so it realizes that, adjusts, and relearns..so it might work for a few seconds, and then throw a CEL code...

a throttle body spacer gives your intake plenum more of a long runner effect, so that, in theory, the air entering your combustion chamber has more velocity upon entry...these do work, but it wont give you an extra hundred hp...i would look inot things like a chip or reprogrammed ECU, and possibly a cold air intake..
