Hood squeek
 

I have an '06 Frontier. Going over rough surfaces, like brick streets, produces a squeek from the rubber bumpers attached to the hood. These bumpers rest against the framing going over the radiator. I have tried WD-40, etc. but they still squeek. Any ideas on how to stop this?
