PRG 2" Leveling Kit on the '05 (Pics inside)

Just installed the kit on my '05 CC, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! 2.5" on the front & 2" rear really makes this thing look & ride nicely....I highly recommend this if anyone is of interest. Two hours +/- of labor & less than $300 even with 2nd day air shipping....you can't go wrong with this one, folks!

Tires are Nitto Terra Grapplers in 265/70/17 (1" taller than stock)

how do you like your PRG kit? have you experienced the loud clanking sound that a lot of peple have experienced. i guess it is the spring bucket hitting the a-arm. how does it ride? did your alignment change? updates?

RE: PRG 2" Leveling Kit on the '05 (Pics inside)

I really like the kit so far; I do get the a-arm hitting the spring bucket,
but only on bumpy areas or bad potholes, which I admit is a little annoying.
Overall, the PRG kit is a worthwhile purchase....90% of my driving is done
on paved roads anyway, and the ride did not change that I can tell; just higher and better if
anything. I did get the front end re-aligned since the toe-in changed a bit. I
would recommend the PRG kit as an easy way to make the truck's stance more
4X4ish, and the kit is an easy install...simple instructions, and you can
always go back to stock with no trouble at all. Next comes the K&N cold air
intake for a few more horses![sm=gears.gif]

P.S. if you're debating about whether to get the kit or not; don't worry,
I'd almost guarantee you'll be pleased with it...I believe they are making a
shorter lift now also that helps the a-arm/spring bucket
situation.......again, mine doesn't hit very often anyway, and it's just a
clacking noise that's mildly annoying....nothing is being damaged that I can
see.

Cheers!

Jeff
