Default micra - keeps dying

[:@]Hi everyone,
Can anyone help with my problem, took car to mechanic and he doesnt know what is wrong......aftyer running for a while it keeps dying and its hard to restart it, mechanic put new filter in and it hasnt made any difference, now mechanic gone on hols for 2 weks and left us to it! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Kay

when you say after a while...do you mean once it gets warm, or longer than that? how old is the vehicle...how many miles?

Hi New Member ...Welcome to the forums...

Have some mechanic pull the control module and have it checked at your local AutoZone, they do it for free..and it sounds like that may be your problem..

Let me know if I was right!

i have heard of similar issues with an older buick...and it was the ECU

I know this is a very old post but for future reference try looking at your throttle body..
