I just put a new timing chain gasket on my engine and while I had the cover off the timing gear fell out. I hope there was only one way it fit back in and it was a 1/2 beveled shaft went first and fit in the engine so the cover would go all the way on. The problem is when I started the engine it runs sluggish. Does anyone know how I could find out if I put in the wrong way . Maybe 1 gear off? Please help I am afraid I will blow up the engine if I start it again?
