01 Max AC not blowing cold
 

Have anyone on here re-charged their own AC themselves or just let the dealer do it for you? I'm used to working on my Toyota truck myself but this will be the first time I did any kind of work in the engine compartment. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I now know for a fact that the alternator is gone on the car. Have anyone replaced one on their own? (Or just went ahead and let the dealer take care of it) It doesn't look too bad to get to, just wanted some insight on the matter. Thanx

What are the symptoms?

Swap and/or repair is easy: 20min work to access brushes (if necessary), very similar to this 3gen alt, see: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/23
