Its resonator, designed to kill certain engine created bacward resonatin pulses =noisekiller. That also does somewhat choke the airflow. Below a pic after cuttin that out, pluggin its airpassage.

1990 Maxima Intake Q

I was wondering if anyone cold tell me what this box that is connected to my intake does. since it is after my air filter and all my sensors
