1991 maxima
 

i bought this car for 200 dollars its a 1991 nissan maxima they put 1350.00 in the tranny bought a alt adn took it to store filled it with gas when they pulled out the timing belt snapped ..... my question would be does it have interference heads ? the body on the car is in exellent shape but we are scared it broke valves when the belt broke ... any responce on this subject appricated

Miracles do happen, like piston holes grow in the night, valve stems cure straghten out by themselves... I a sorry, the engine is toast.

One max owner told his g/f started after fillup, belt snapped, engine OK! (I wanttomarry that girl:)

There is one nonmaxima version which has noninterference engine
