'87 Nissan Maxima
 

Just pickup a 87' Maxima... low miles runs great....

However I have a few issues I need to resolve.

Sunroof does not work. Is there a way to bypass the electric motor that has failed?

Also the security work kind of irregular.. like going off in the middle of the night.... Any suggestions?

I had aftermarket satellite module pcb components wires pinching through (short) its flat cable. This caused intermittent false alarms from other cars door openers, especially (?!) in moist weather...

Bypass? Make it manual version by taking the mechanism/motor out.
