I have 1994 maxima 3.0L SOHC AUTOMATIC 134xxx miles.
Ran fine other than some tune up and maintenance neglect form previous owner. Trans was no good unless cold or reverse. Replaced trans with a used one that matched the data plate on fire wall. Fit perfectly!! Before I test drive I noticed the valve cover leaking profusely on the cylinder 1 side. So I replaced it and reassembled harness and vacuum stuff. Started it and it ran good til I snapped throttle and it got real rough. I also tore the flex coupling on exhaust during trans replace. Checked spark all good, fuel pressure was about 42psi. Pulling either plug wire or injector plug didn't make a difference on 2, 4, or 6. Ohmed injectors all were 10.2ohms. Put my noid light on the #4 and got a steady light. Nothing on 2 or 6. However, on the 1,3,5 injectors I get nothing on noid light either. I found a possible crack in the cap and replaced both it and the rotor and once again it sounded good until I snapped the throttle and it went rough again. Checked all the plugs and wires from connector to injector all good. Need to ohm from pcm but still looking for a comprehensive wire diagram. Amy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
