Default 95 Window Motor Problems

I'm not sure if I have had the regulator or the motor go out on the Drivers Side Power window. How can I telland how do you replace either part?

Hook power directly to motor... if motor works then it's not the motor, it's the switch. Regulator would be visually broken.

If motor &sw is ok, it may be any problem cut/shor/ting the ctrl data lines to the door satellite; moisture, connector oxidation. Typically first affects the door with longest wiring... Check http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/13

it would be much better if you could provide a pic of your jeep window motor.you know it would be easier to point out the solution if you would be able to provide us.

to check the switch hook up a voltmeter to the p/w motor plug and move the switch up and down and see if you get battery voltage, to check the motor use a jumper wire from a 12v source and supply power to the motor and see if it works. if its a cable styl regulator you can useally see it and hear it binding. also it doesnt hurt to check your fuses.
