96 Max possible short?
 

96 max gle 99k miles - car starts great but when shut off the battery will die within 2 days. If I disconnect the battery when I shut it, it will start whenever I reconnect the battery. The door locks will sometimes trip on/off at random. I assume a short somewhere and wanted to start at the lock fuse but this fuse is not identified either under the dash or in the engine compartment. I would appreciate all ideas. Thanks. Al

Sounds like alternator rectifier diodes leaking and/or dirty... check current draw with 10$ multimeter: should be around 0.05A ... 0.15A or over is a problem.

Take out one fuse at a time to locate problem circuit (if not alt) while measurin current draw.
