Nissan Forum - Nissan Enthusiast Forums - 97-99 trunk lid on 95-96?

Hi there, i purchased some custom tail lights for a 97-99 maxima and i was told they would work on my 96. i was told wrong. the outer ones work but the trunk ones are a little too wide.
I had a friend with a 99 park next to me to compare trunks and we measured every area we could think of and made sure the lock was in the same area.
It all checks out o.k. but i thought i would post a thread and see if anyone knows any more about this. thanx for your input.
