97 maxima wont start
 

hey all! hope somebody has an idea that could help!!!! when i turn the key to start the car nothing happens if the air temp or the engine temp is hot. when it gets cooler it starts right up. I'm not talking about overheating just if you run the vehicle for a while and turn it off it wont start again untill it cools down. This is really driving me nuts!!!I replaced the starter and upstream and downstream o2 sensors recentley.Do you think it could be a relay maybe?It seems when it cools down whatever it is contracts and operates correctly. Please if anyone has an idea what it could be it would be appreaciated. Thanx

Key question is starter replacement: was there same problem before starter swap? If NOT, then starter is bad ('autozone' -class starters often do come bad)

O2 is not the reason.

ECU cont/pwr relay is typical nostart reason, maybe alarm, also inhibit switch (not heat related): see page 5, link below.
