If chassis is ok (not bent), it should be straightforward job.
Its good to have 2persons taking off /installin the hood but can be done alone. Havin about 10" high sturdy box resting on engine, gives nice stand (to rest the hood) while disconnectin/attaching hinges.
Take care handling the ammo bag: they kill more ppl than save... see http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/19 ... Bleeding the coolin system is mandatory, find how-to info via Links on pages 7,8. If the procedure is not tediously followed, will produce lots problems.

if your car troubles persist, you should...bef0re that, asked your mechanic if you necessarily have to change some of your car parts..i had just installed nissan altima radiator with my '01 altima, since mine was more on overheating problems..search also on google for some necessary measures like with radiator, howstuffworks.
