i dont know is its my fuel pump. every other day the 96 maxima is hard to start. hard cranking for a bit a few times and it starts. once it starts it fine. one mechanic says its the fuel pump but i think it may be the fuel pump relay. any thoughts anyone know where the relay is on a 96 maxima

 

also sometimes it surges at lites. 700-900 rpm. just back and forth . help

 

that has nothing to realy do with ur fuel pump if its fine when u get it started. it sounds like the battery is weak. or its not geting fully charged up by the altrnator.
