96 maxima nice clean car. the other day i tried to start and it cranked but didnt start. tried again and it started. did it later inthe day and next morning. cranks for a time you try again and it starts. today did not have any issues. any thoughts. maybe a camshaft sensor or dirty fuel filter. ll help..

 

Sounds like the knock sensor. That sensor tends to get abuse because of its location in relation to debri from the road.
