Folks,

I need some guidance. My 1999 Maxima SE is kicking out some serious Bluish White smoke. After cruising at around 60 - 80 it will spew a "James Bond-esque" cloud of smoke. On startup it, kicks out as well. It appears to be burning oil. A mechanic recommended going to a thicker oil...20-50w...and using an Engine Restorer... I am hoping that it may be head gasket... I am considering doing it myself. If there is anyone who has dealt with the same issue...drop me a note...
