Maxima Engine Swap
 

I have a 3 month problem.I just swapped out a 2000 Maxima 3.0 engine to a 2003 Infinity 3.5 engine. replace time bilt with 3.0 and crank senser to 3.0.
The Problem

igntion coil 1 3 5

2 4 6

egntion coil "2" isn't sparking "4" is sparking correctly "6" spark...............stop..........spark.
The car sounds like it wants to turn over, but just needs that little push.


Please any answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need help.........

ECU is/has the driver/s for coilpacks. Test/swap the problematic ones 2/6 with functional coilpack 4...
- if problem(s) are exactly the same, then the problem is in the driver and/or in the 2-4-6 -bank harness.
- If a problem is corrected with swap, the swapped coilpack is broken...

- Start by checking supply voltage at batt/ and ECU: +14V &gnd

The coil packs are good. used same coil pack when testing for spark.Ecu is good used it on another maxima(all sparked)
