Maxima idle
 
i was wondering what the problem could be if my maxima is sort of jerking or bucking a little when its idling in drive or reverse, any suggestions?

Swap the problematic part...

What I mean: if question is general, relevant answer will be more so... Pls give more details:
1. Maxima age, model
2. mileage
3. service his tory
4. more details, like rpm behaviour, broader explanation for word 'buckin'???

Typical problem sources are
- plugs wires/cap -if any- or coilpacks.
- IACV, throttle dirty,
- electrical connectors oxidation,
- small ctrl hoses cracked/leaking.

All starts from verifying charge voltage at batt &ECU. Browse link pages below - even if you have newer model to get ideas...

Cost depends on how youre willing to dip dirt on u fingers +& your answers to 1-5...
