I wanted to know how long can a 2000 Nissan Maxima last, Im looking into buying a car with 120,000 miles. Can I see this car to 200K?

All depends on its history, how has it been used/serviced, what parts have been replaced. Dig that out or go/pay professional assessment. Beleive that assesment, fallin in love will always be co$tly....

IF No history or nothin done/replaced, dont buy. Mileage, under 300k, is not a problem. In any old car, check rear wheel wells for rust (peek using bright light under trunk upholstery). If any, find another.

There is no free mile in any used car: Engine will last (check oil leaks), IF No regular A/T oil change, box is about done. Other issues (if) are more likely to be electronics, coilpacks, MAF plus general connector maintenance - see p14 & p24 link below.
