I want to make some mild mods to my 2000 maxima. The problem is that it is equipped w/ an auto trans and it doesnt feel that powerful. It runs great, but it feels like a ford taurus when I punch it. My last max was a 96 w/ a 5 speed, and it felt much more powerful. Before I do the exaust and cold air intake, I was wondering if I can get more out of this tranny(higher stall torque converter or performance valve body - unless there is a shift kit available). Or should I not even bother and just move on to the mentioned mods?

 

Engine gives the pwr for tranny to deliver = if those horses missin, tranny doesnt hlp... Are the TPS, KS, Coilpacks, MAF, plugs ok?
