Default 05 pathfinder horn

Anyone else think that the horn on the 05 path is kinda weak? I heard that there is only one horn in the car, and that most cars usually ship with 2 horns. Has anyone else heard this and 2 has anyone added/switched out their horn??

Yeah I have an 05 pathfinder and for such a big truck, what a lousy horn, I couldn't agree more.

I switched mine out, it took about 15 min., I picked up a universal low tone horn at my local Advanced Auto Parts for $ 15.00. Sounds much better.

i couldn't agree with you more about the weak horn on my 2005 pathy. i've recently replaced the factory horn with an air-pumped double horn and let me jus say that it's loud enough for people to cut me off and when the horn goes off, they get the heck out of my lane. good stuff

Default Interior Scratches made easily

Hello.. I will agree, horn is weak. Do you have a problem with your interior plastic getting easily scratched? My 05 only has 5000 miles on it and already some interior looks like it is 5 yrs old. Scratch marks under the glove box from slight bumps, etc. Looks terrible. Also, power steering slightly stiff compared to my 97 4-Runner.

hey joe!

i'm in the greenbelt area. i had the horn purchased and replaced by "4X4 Unlimited" in laurel (301-498-4994) for $100. These guys do awesome work, very detail oriented and professional.

Agree about the plastics, always been a weakspot in Nissan which is a shame. Seems daft to let down one of the best trucks around for a few dollars worth of plastic. I'm in the UK by the way, so it seems the prob is worldwide.
