Default 05 Pathfinder shock leaking

During my inspection at the dealership, they told me my front left shock was leaking. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm over my 36K miles and the extended warranty doesn't cover shocks.

In short... Nope!

I have a 2006 after having engine problems with my bought-new 2005. 2006 has done 25k miles with some off roading but no probs so far other than the odd squeak.

BTW, noticed on your other post that you said NissaniPod input was easy, could an ordinary MP3 input be fitted (I'm handy with a soldering iron) and does it involve stripping out the dash to get to it?

There's not a lot of tear down to install the interface. If I remember correctly, you have to take the A/C controls, shifter molding and stereo out to do it.
