I just got an 06 pathfinder SE, the system call with a six dish Bose but it was missing and the plugs were cut, so went to the junkyard found the stereo and the plugs i connected them by and color coded it, the unit still doesnt work, instead now my airbag light as well as my service engine light is on now.

I should also point out that my positive batterey terminal is full of corrossion andthe terminal is almost melted could it, does anyone does if thereis a connection with the stereo and the battery thanks.

 

Undo what you did then restart your Pathfinder and see if the lights (air bagand service lights) go off. If they do you have wired the radio wrong. Not all radios arewiredthe same way.
