Heavy towing
 

I am thinking of getting a Weekend Warrior Toy Hauler and a couple of ATVs...Will my 2005 Pathfinder SE do the job??
The weekend warrior says it was built for 1/2 ton p/u's and SUV's but it doesn't say how big the SUV should be.
dry weight of Toy Hauler is about 4300...towing capacity of Pathfinder is 6000.

I am thinking...another 1200-1300 for 2 quads...and then all our sleeping gear, water, fuel etc...Am I pushing the limits on the Pathfinder's capabilities???

Anyone have any experience towing at maximum weight??

that towing capacity listed, is that of the hitch assembly, or of the truck itself?
