Temp reading on rearview mirror
 

I have a 99 Chillkoot Edition and for the last few months the Temperature reading on the rearview display has been very incorrect. Today for example it was like 90 and it was reading that it was freezing and flashing "ice'

Just want to know where the actuall sensor is located and what do I actually have to replace.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

PS: The compass reading seems to be correct.

the sensor will be on the front under the hood latch. there should be two sensors on is for the A/C and the other is for out side temp you can see if thats the problem by switching the two sensors
