Throttle Body on 01 Pathy
 

I've got an '01 pathfinder with about 72K miles on it. The dealer that I bought my car from informed me that I should probably change my plugs and have my throttle body cleaned for routine maintenance. I haven't had it serviced since I bought it a year and a half ago other than having the oil changed.
What does cleaning the throttle body do and is it necessary at 72K miles.

you can buy TB cleaner in a spray can, that has instructions on the packaging. Go down to your local auto parts store and read up, might save you big bucks from getting the dealer to do it
