Want to replace my bose system
I've got a 2006 pathfinder with the bose sound system but I want to replace that. Right now i just want to replace the headunit. By the summer time I want to replace the speakers. I plan on putting an amp and subs also but I'm trying to figure out a way to keep the third row of seats. Any suggestions? Would there be any problems if I replace the headunit right now? I've read some people run into problems and other don't. And is there a guide or anything like that to replacing the headunit and speakers. What would i have to take apart. Thanks in advance.

RE: Want to replace my bose system
We all know the 06 pathfinder bose sound system s*cks. There are other ways of improving your audio.
I replaced my speaker and subs first, the sound improved but wasn't ideal. I replaced the sub. I wasn't expecting much but that didn't do me no good. I then purchased a pac-audio device that allows me to add or replace my amp. I purchased the service manual online ($19), removed the drivers seat, disconnected the base amp. replacing it with a Kicker zx350.4. Now my system is as good as a friend's who paid like $2k to upgrade his 4 runner. My two cents |
RE: Want to replace my bose system
Do you have a link for the pac-audio device and service manual? Your way sounds good to me. Like I said before i just want to replace the speakers, put a new headunit in and an amp. Would there be a noticeable increase in sound quality if i do that.
