Default 2002 Lacks Power

My 2002 Quest is my daily commuter. Since I am the only driver in my household and I have to haul an electric wheelchair around, it doesn't make sense for me to own another vehicle for commuting. Anyway, I have noticed that it is losing power. The problem is most noticeable at WOT. The trans downshifts and the engine revs, but it doesn't pull. I can actually feel it pull harder when I lift my foot off the pedal. The MIL isn't on. I haven't checked for DTCs yet, but I did pull the MAF sensor out to see if it was dirty. It looked fine, but I sprayed it with brake cleaner anyway just to be sure. I also found some bits of paper on the MAF housing screen, which I hoped was the cause of the problem. Unfortunately the problem is still there, and, while the MPG computer on the dash isn't very reliable in my opinion, it is indicating that my gas mileage is dropping. Has anyone else run into this? What was the cause? My van has 151K. Distributor cap, rotor, wires, and plugs are all new.
