Question 2014 Nissan Quest A/C Clutch

Good evening everyone. This is my first post here, and I look forward to many more. I’m hoping to get some feedback from some more experienced individuals. My A/C clutch is bad. It’s full of refrigerant, a continuity test shows an open circuit, and I’m getting 14v at the clutch. Is there something wrong with the compressor itself, technically I dont know for sure, but I do know the clutch assembly needs replaced. Here are my two questions.
1) The van is a 2014 with 55k miles on it. Unfortunately it is out of warranty. Do I have a valid argument that this should not be an issue this early on. There’s no physical damage, its been in no accidents, no deep water, and only serviced by the dealer we purchased it from.
2) Is it true that the clutch assembly is a non serviceable part and that I am forced to pay for a new compressor as the clutch is integrated?

I really do appreciate your input, and your advice is welcomed. Hope everyone is staying safe. Take care
