autolight (headlight ) function and auto seat retract
If you find your headlights are not shutting off when you have them set on the "auto" position, try looking at the black rubber switch on the driver door jamb. It may have become dislodged (it is a plunger, and should be firm and not rattle).
At the same time, you will notice that the driver's seat make have stopped automatically retracting. This is controlled by the same switch
If so, its an easy fix. Remove the one torx screw; make sure the connection is secure--the two parts of the switch snap together (there is a slight bumb on the plastic body of the switch that must engage the metal yoke of the switch. You'll hear/feel a click. Then you'll know it's secure.
Replace the switch and tighten the torx screw. That's it.
