Nissan Rogue 2024 Trouble with Music on USB-C
 

Hi,
My new Nissan Rogue 2024 SL does not recognize mp3 stored on a USBC 128gb from Sandisk. As you know, the 2024 model does not have any USB3 it has 2 USBC's in front to play music.

Tried to format key in FAT32 and NTSF to no avail. Tried lowlevel formatting the key completely as someone recommended and then FAT32. Tried other capacities 64gb, 32gb, 8gb and different companies like Kinsgton. Nothing doing.

Brought in car to local dealer, they don't know why it does not work. Called Nissan Canada, spent 1.5 hour with a technician trying different things. Nothing doing.

I do not have a smartphone to use Android Auto or Apple Car Play. The USB-C's can however charge my iPad so they work when charging. I find that the iPad is too cumbersome to carry around to play the music.

By the way, the recall for the new firmware was installed also but did not do anything for that problem.

I am running out of options and very disapponted. Any of you have any practical ideas or solutions ? I will gladly try anything.
