01 sentra wont shift into first with auto tranny
 

Hello,

New here, have a question. Got a 2001 Nissan sentra auto tranny 75,000 miles, when shifted to drive it wont engage first gear. The car starts out in 2nd or what ever is next.....this happens even when the shift knob is in first.....(when shifted to first it will do like 40mph)...anyways checked the tranny fluid its right on hot and cold........oh the weather here in iowa -14 degrees......but this still happens even when the car is warmed up.....any ideas...
