04 sentra ser spec-v ( help)
 

Hey.. I have an 04 ser spec-v... I developed a bad exaust leak. I located it after the header where the exaust starts... " I got the replacment donut from nissan. I replaced it... and now my car will not start...... ( i am currently wondering if the catalitic converter is bad?)

Right before i fixed the exaust leak with the new dount.. i started the car with only ( stright headers).. and it was turn key...

that is why i am wonder if the cat could be bad... how do i tell?

plz help...

I would take it to your local dealer.......depending on what failed it is probably going to be covered undera recall.

i found out that infact... it was the ( cat) ... i took the exhaust off.. and the cat was pluged solid... no exhaust was getting out and it was putting back pressure on the motor.... i drilled the cat out... just for fun... i put it back on the car.. and it runs top... yet.. there is a little bit of smoke comming out the muffler.. now...... wtf i say...

well because i have blown up a few of these motor.. i know what color the broke dick smoke is .. and this is not in fact that.. broke dick smoke... so yea... im just wondering how ...

i can be struck with such bad.. luck.. and i am wondering what's wrong now!
