I just aquired 2 front Brembo Calipers and rotors off another Spec V, for next to nothing, brand new! Im pretty sure that everything will just bolt right up, but I have been wrong before. Anyone ever tried this, or compared the two calipers together? Nothing worse than getting all excited about installing new stuff on your car, taking everything apart then figuring out its not gonna work. Not fun. Any help would be great. Thanks..... I have an 05 that didnt have the brembo package so i called the dealer to look into a possible upgrade and every dealer i talked to said that i needed to have it installed when the car was being built and if i wanted to do an aftermarket upgrade to brembo id have to spend close to 4k for a kit... from the way it sounds there is alot more to just putting on some calipers... so im in the same boat with you for brakes as of right now... my neighbor knows a lot about brakes so the next time i see him ill have to ask him because ive been wanting to do the same thing

 

everything should bolt up perfectly fine. difference here being, you may need different brake lines, certain mounting points may be different, need the Brembo pads, etc. i dont see why this would be a problem though, the dealers probably just full of crap and wants you to pay them extra

what was included in the abs package? i wanna know if my future 04 spec v has the abs.
