2000 gxe automatic shifter release sticking
 

My automatic shifter release button began sticking today. You can push it in and move into the gear you wan't then the button slowly pops back out. It has just started to get cold here and I'm thinking this may be the cause. Is there an easy way to lube this button or could there be something else wrong.

you can try to use some sort of spray lube.

Thanks This didn't seem to work at first but tried it twice and after a few days it seems to have done the trick.
