Default 92 se-r driveability problems

Hi,
I have a 92 SE-R with 114k miles and I'm getting some driveability problems. I have replaced the plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor, balanced the fuel injectors and have a new O2 sensor. When the car is cold, I sounds like it is backfiring or missing a little. It usually clears up after a while, then runs OK. The gas mileage around town is about 23-24 mpg. I used to get 27 or better. At parking lot speeds and in first gear, the car bucks a lot and it is hard to modulate the gas. Does anyone have any ideas? I thought it might be the MAF, but I don't know how to test it. I also thought of the AIV valve, but I had that replaced a few years ago.
Thanks,
Marc
