92 Sentra-Hard start

Hi Guys!!
I got a Sentra 92. 1.6 automatic. Just did a tune up last week.( Changed fuel filter, spark plug, adjusted timing), also changed the top gasket coz there was a small leak. Since then I'm having hard start. Checked the battery and starter, both are very good. When i turn the ignition, it cranks good, its just not firing. but after about 5-7 tries it starts.
Also, I noticed that if I run the car for a while and then shut-down andtryrestarting, for up to about 4-5 hrs I can start normally without any problem.
When i went to the mechanic, they are like, may be this or may be that......
I'm having difficulty in troubleshooting. Could it be sparkplug, distributor,hi-tension wire or something else. I had the distributor and wires checked. they seem to be ok.

I would be very glad if any of you guys have any idea or suggeston what i should.
Thanks
Ji

RE: 92 Sentra-Hard start

Was it running ok before your tune-up? My guess is either the timeing is out of wack or you have a loose hose clamp on the fuel filter. That could cause it to bleed off the fuel pressure and cause hard starting.
