Acceleration Randomly Gives Out
 

Sometimes my car will just stop accelerating no matter how much or as little as my foot is on the pedal. It usually drops to 1250 rpm or gets stuck at 2000. This has been happening for over a year and it is very unnerving to drive. So far we have: Replaced spark plugs, Replaced the air filter, Sprayed Seafoam in the engine, cleaned the mass airflow sensor, replaced the throttle body and the TPS, and replaced the fuel pump. The fuel pump has the only fuel filter inside of it so we replaced the whole part. There is no inline fuel filter. This made the car run fine for about 3 months but now it is acting up again. I was thinking to clean out the gas tank completely, since I think there could be dirt or grime in it which could cause the act up. Any ideas? Linked is a video of what happens.

i had a similar problem once. i changed accelerator pedal and sensor on my 2007 sentra.
