Default Breaking in the new car?

I just got the new '07 Sentra the other day and I drove it off the lot with 5 miles on the odometer. Currently at 170 miles even, I was wondering how many miles of conservative driving I should go through before I try anything aggressive. Thanks for any input.

I would be easy for about at least 3,000 mi and do the usual "Brake" break in procedures to seat the pads and rotors.
Best Wishes!!!

You need to give it about a 1,500 mile break in period...... but it also helps to set the rings if you floor it in higher gears, doing so in lower gears can hurt the life of the tranny.

i would wait til about around the time for an oil change..thats usually pretty safe but if your eager then the 1500 break-in period should do

i was deliverying pizzas in my new '07 as soon as i bought at the end of june. probably wasn't the best idea. so far i've put a little over 4,000 miles on it. i wasn't really sure how to handle it being that it is my very first car. the cvt is amazing though....it feels weird driving a car with normal transmission after that. i don't know if this helps but i just felt like sharing
