Car trouble
Garage just told me today that they dont know whats wrong with my car.....thats kinda scary when a garage says that to you.
When u start it up...it idles REALLY rough, then if u dont give it gas it cuts off by itself slowy as the rpm bounces down. While i am driving it it accelerates slowly and u can feel the hesitation to speed up. At stop signes, red lights, or anytime i stop, i have to give it gas and keep it around 1.5k rpm to keep it alive. This just started about a week ago....any suggestions? Anybody have any clues to what this might be....otherwise ima have to take it to the Nissan Dealership again and let them rape my wallet. Thanks to anyone who reads and helps out. By the way its a 2002 Sentra SE-R spec v |
RE: Car trouble
Also...it is misfiring and they replaced the spark plugs but they faulted out as soon as they drove it he said.

RE: Car trouble
in all possibilities and most likely it might just be having the QR25 ****ting outness

RE: Car trouble

RE: Car trouble
I am currently having a similar prob with my 2000 sentra gxe. Found out last week that it was air temp sensor. Replaced it (20$). Ran alrite for a week and now the problem returned. Now it is the fuel-air sensor (300$). But the car did not stop, but keeps stalling with poor accelaration.
There are couple nissan sentra safey recalls from 2000 to 2003 which can cause similar symptoms. Check them out if you have not yet. |
RE: Car trouble
Irish ... I would say it's probably the cam or crank sensor.... but it also could be the TPS which results in buying a new throttle body for a Spec V.

RE: Car trouble
Thanks for the help...i got it fixed, it was the Mass airflow sensor....which i just replaced a month ago witha rebuilt one from advanced and it craped out....so i went to nissan and although they charged me 700 for it, i got it fixed, the car is running better than ever and they recommended me tryin to get my money back from advanced and i did, so technically i payed 400 for the repair and i would of done it myself cause it a very simple installl......but i figured id let them do it and get a 12 month warranty on this expensive sensor.
Next step is my to get my headers so i can bolt on them and my Greddy evo 2 |
