Default Cat converter replacement + sensors

hey all, have my 2000 Sentra GXE at the dealership now....

they say the catalytic converter needs replacing, which is covered under the 8 year/80 K mile warranty. However, they say there are four oxygen sensors around the converter that usually need replacing with a new converter, on average two out of the four.

I know these sentra's have a lot of sensors, i've had to replace some, but also it sounds kind of fishy that a no charge new part, such as the converter, will still need new, CHARGEABLE parts replaced with it.

don't mean to sound synical, but just trying to be cautious.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW ABOUT THIS PROCESS????

most likely if those were bad O2 sensors on a car as new as yours they would throw out a check engine light if bad. Did you have a CEL when you brought the car in? Ask them how they plan to test each one of those sensors outside of the car to see which one(s) are bad.
