Hey i am new to this forum and i could use a little help
 

I have a 03 spec-v bone stock and the engine light just came on after a race i had against a 3.0 2005 z4. I went and had it checked and it was the cam shaft sensor that i need to replace, well my car also shuts odd while driving sometimes when i am in 3rd gear is this due to a fuel pump not putting enough pressure out or something like that??? Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you.
