I own a 5 speed (stick) 1992 Nissan Sentra with a 1.6L. And I have a aftermarket Tachometer I want to put in, hows that work?

 

4 wires

black - ground
red - 12 volt source
green - white wire on distribtor or tach signal
white - dash lights

 

Where is the wire (the white one and/or tach wire) found in the engine compartment? Try to post a picture or leave explicted directions. Thanks!

 

ok ill try and make it as simple as i can with out havin a pic. next to your battery is your ignition coil. there is a plug on one end of that coil. there is two wires in that plug, you have to snip one (i believe its the solid colored one id have to go out to my car and look) and connect the tach wire with them.... its pretty simple ill try and get ya a pic of mine
